French Club
The EHS French Club was created to offer students opportunities to celebrate French culture beyond the classroom. Students may enroll in French Club if they are currently or were previously enrolled in a French class. Students must also be academically eligible and participate in the service projects we perform.
Regular meetings: ~ every other month beginning in August; usually after school; meeting dates will be included in the daily school announcements
French Club activities: Armistice/Veteran's Day, Célébration de Père Noël, Fête de Mardi Gras, Spring Picnic.
Service Projects: Donation Drive for the local chapter of Disabled American Veterans in the weeks leading up to Veteran's Day
EHS also maintains a chapter of the Societé Honoraire du Français, or SHF, to encourage academic excellence and advanced study of the French language. Each year, students with an A average in all French classes and an overall 3.5 GPA who take French I, II, & III are invited to join. Induction is held in the spring.
