Susan Burns

Hello, I'm Mrs. Burns. I have been teaching since August of 2000 in Enterprise Schools. During my first five years, I taught English 9, but I have been a Senior English teacher at EHS since 2005. I have also taught Junior English, Advanced Placement Literature, and ACT Prep.

I am married to Coach Burns (junior high football and varsity baseball assistant coach) from Coppinville Jr. High. We have three kids: two are at Enterprise High School, a daughter who cheers and a son who plays football and baseball. Our oldest son is a sophomore at the University of Alabama and can be found on the sidelines each fall as an equipment manager for the University of Alabama Football Team.

I also love my dogs. We have two shihpoos, Skip and Lilly. Outside of school, I stay busy watching my kids participate in Enterprise High and UA games. I also love to travel, read, exercise, and sit outside.

Having lived in Enterprise for over two decades, I consider it my home and have a vested interest in the continued success of our schools. I feel pride in Enterprise High School, Enterprise City Schools, and our Enterprise Community, who continually support us.
