Financial Aid FAFSA Waiver
Submission of the federal financial aid application (FAFSA), or a FAFSA waiver form, is a graduation requirement for Alabama students. The FAFSA is an online form, submitted digitally, which determines student eligibility for grants, work study, and student loans for college. Additionally, the FAFSA is often a prerequisite for scholarship applications. We encourage all seniors to submit a FAFSA. If a senior chooses NOT to submit the FAFSA, he/she will need to submit a completed paper FAFSA waiver form to the EHS Guidance office.
Make sure you choose the year you will attend college after you graduate. You can complete your FAFSA at fafsa.gov . Our College and Career staff is glad to help if you have questions.
If you choose to submit the FAFSA waiver, you may pick up a copy in the EHS Guidance office. Once complete, return the waiver form to EHS Guidance to be kept in the student's cumulative record.
